You won the battle. Do you think you won the war? And what about the casualties?


This card is about conflict. It shows up around the holiday dinner table, when it’s possible to completely dress down Auntie Karen for saying she doesn’t believe in pronouns. Sure, you’re correct in the arguments you make… but is it really necessary to swing so hard? 


Having the moral high ground does not mean destroying your “opponents.” Consider your message, and what’s the best way to convey that message. Is it through insults that cut to the bone? Or maybe something else?
