Pandora’s Toybox marks the beginning of my journey into erotic art—the first time I felt ready to share this side of my work. It all started with a charcoal drawing of a bright blue, glass dildo that sat on a shelf in my bedroom. Initially, it was just a study of an object and its textures, a challenge to capture the light moving through the glass.
That simple exercise opened up a world of inspiration for me. From there, I began exploring unique items from various erotic toy collections, creating some of my most playful pieces. This series features a range of materials—charcoal, watercolors, acrylics, digital pixels—every medium in my toolkit. It continues to evolve alongside my artistic style and as my collection of objects grows and changes.
The pieces in Pandora’s Toybox are meant to be lighthearted and fun. There’s no profound message, just a playful visual wink—a cheeky glimpse into the creativity behind creating pleasure. And unlike the original Pandora’s box, this one is all about opening up to find delight, not disaster.
Many of the items featured in this series are made by artisans I’ve met along the way—those whose work I’ve traded for, admired from across a vendor hall at a convention, or stumbled upon through serendipitous encounters, like someone winning a tentacle dildo in a raffle. Each piece reflects the imagination and joy of these makers and the unique objects they bring into the world of adult play.
