This original painting is part of the 78-piece Demand & Delight tarot series, created directly for the working deck. The piece measures 9×12 inches, with the tarot image about 6×10 inches, framed by hand-applied metal foil that shifts in the light. Signed on the front, bottom right.
The 4 of Cups shows a figure seated with their back to the viewer. They kneel with arms wrapped tightly around themselves, long hair falling forward to obscure their face. Four cups line the bottom of the image. The artwork is rendered in purples and blues with cross-hatched linework.
