Description
This original painting is part of the 78-piece Demand & Delight tarot series, created directly for the working deck. The piece measures 9×12 inches, with the tarot image about 6×10 inches, framed by hand-applied metal foil that shifts in the light. Signed on the front, bottom right.
The 7 of Swords shows a figure standing with their back to the viewer. They wear a fitted pencil skirt, long elbow gloves, and a horse mask that obscures their face. Their arms hang naturally in front of their body, the posture casual but unreadable. Bright highlights accent the figure against a pink background, creating contrast between costume and stance.
