Description
This original painting is part of the 78-piece Demand & Delight tarot series, created directly for the working deck. The piece measures 9×12 inches, with the tarot image about 6×10 inches, framed by hand-applied metal foil that shifts in the light. Signed on the front, bottom right.
The 8 of Swords shows a blindfolded figure in profile, hair tied up and collar snug at the neck. In front of them, a single sword stands upright, gleaming at the edge with a star-like spark. Orange-pink tones and sharp linework emphasize restraint and containment.
One-of-a-kind, signed on the front. A singular painting and living piece of the tarot deck.
