Description
This original painting is part of the 78-piece Demand & Delight tarot series, created directly for the working deck. The piece measures 9×12 inches, with the tarot image about 6×10 inches, framed by hand-applied metal foil that shifts in the light. Signed on the front, bottom right.
The 9 of Cups shows a seated figure in a large armchair, their long hair falling in waves around their shoulders. They sit relaxed, one arm resting on the chair’s armrest, legs crossed comfortably. Behind them, nine cups are arranged in a neat row on a shelf. The artwork is drawn in pink and purple tones with cross-hatched linework.
