Description
This original painting is part of the 78-piece Demand & Delight tarot series, created for the working deck itself. The piece measures 9×12 inches, with the central tarot image about 6×10 inches, bordered by hand-applied metal foil that glimmers with movement. Signed on the front, bottom right.
In The Empress, abundance and sensual authority come forward through softness and power entwined. A figure with long flowing hair looks over their shoulder, clad in fishnets and a short skirt stitched with a heart. In one hand, they hold a looped strap, hinting at command; around them, blossoms scatter as petals fall. Painted in radiant pinks, purples, and golds against a deep green field, this card embodies nurture, desire, and creative sovereignty.
One-of-a-kind, signed on the front. A standalone artwork and a living fragment of the tarot deck.
