This original painting is part of the 78-piece Demand & Delight tarot series, created for the working deck itself. The piece measures 9×12 inches, with the central tarot image about 6×10 inches, bordered by hand-applied metal foil that catches shifting light. Signed on the front, bottom right.
In The Wheel of Fortune, fate takes the form of spectacle and show. A dazzling figure in corset, feathered bustle, and fishnets stretches across a brightly colored spinning wheel, evoking carnival games and chance itself. Painted in a riot of rainbow hues with glowing lights and framed in hot pink, this card reminds us that fortune is bold, playful, and never static. The wheel turns, and with it, everything changes.
