The 8 of Swords has a blindfold of their own creation covering their eyes.

This card comes to the same parties that self limiting beliefs come to. The blindfold is made by the wearer. If the person would just open their eyes, they’d see a Library of Alexandria full of ideas for how to approach something. Alas, the covering is opaque, and the person can’t see around it.
