5 of Pentacles

The 5 of Pentacles is an acknowledgment of being shut out, a door slammed in a face. This card knows we need the resources, knows we need to have our support network around us – but also knows that, though it may be unfair, we are barred from places we should be perfectly welcome. The flipside is, the world is full of other misfits. While this card immediately speaks to the pain of being cast out, it then whispers that we must find our own homes, our own chosen families. If the door to our home is locked, let’s build a new door, walk through it, and then build a new home.
