Description
This original painting is part of the 78-piece Demand & Delight tarot series, created directly for the working deck. The piece measures 9×12 inches, with the tarot image about 6×10 inches, framed by hand-applied metal foil that shifts in the light. Signed on the front, bottom right.
The Knight of Cups shows a cropped figure from the shoulders to the thighs. They wear a cropped top and hold the front of their pants at the crotch. In the foreground, a glass contains a small horse figure, highlighted with a bright sparkle. The image is rendered in pink and purple tones with cross-hatched linework.
