Description
Four Diphylleia grayi blooms crowd together on one stem, their petals drawn so thin you can see through them to the flowers behind. The linework stays loose and sketchy, with soft grey construction lines left showing and yellow-green washes slipping outside the edges. Each center is a small mint-green cluster ringed by pale stamens. It’s the delicate, see-through quality of the skeleton flower, drawn as it looks when it’s flimsy and nearly gone. ♡
This is a digital piece, so there is no original. It’s printed on high-quality photo paper, matted with an acid-free mat, and sleeved with a backing board. Every print ordered in October is hand-embellished with paint or sparkle.
