This original painting is part of the 78-piece Demand & Delight tarot series, created for the working deck itself. The piece measures 9×12 inches, with the central tarot image about 6×10 inches, bordered by hand-applied metal foil that shimmers in changing light. Signed on the front, bottom right.
In The Queen of Wands, a nude figure reclines against a block, one arm raised to hold a blazing starburst of light. Flowing orange flames curl across the background.
