Description

A tradescantia spills from a hanging planter, its pointed leaves striped in pink, silver, and green trailing down in a loose cascade. Small three-petaled flower clusters and pink buds tuck in among the foliage. The plant is drawn on warm kraft paper, the brown ground letting both the pinks and the pale silvers hold their color rather than washing out.

The plant is drawn in acrylic paint pen. Its leaves take their sharpest color from the variegation — the pink and cream running lengthwise against the green.

Nadia has lost more than one of these. Here’s a tradescantia that outlives the watering schedule.

Hey, quick note from Nadia here! The text in this product listing is created using AI.

I do NOT use AI in any creative works - not in any part of the Tarot deck, including the book and the Tarot section of this website. I do NOT use AI in things like my bio, artist statement, etc. I ONLY use my chatbot, under extremely close handling (no autopilot here!), for things inside the environment of the shop section of my website.

I do this so I can carry on with the business of making art, rather than trying to sell art. I very much hate AI, too, but I also know that my creative engine has almost been destroyed by the very hustle and added mental load required to keep that engine even operating.

Something had to give. I believe that you, the viewer who is reading this, will probably connect more with the art than with my shitty descriptions of it, so I'm delegating the descriptions to a bot, since it's mostly going to be a bot that crawls the text, anyway.
